Who We Are
Wiseweight Academy is run by Lesley Butlin and Liz Blatherwick. They offer a warm, friendly, relaxed approach and know that people learn best when they are enjoying themselves! Both are adult education qualified trainers.
Lesley is a trainer, supervisor, UKCP registered Psychotherapist, nurse and counsellor. She has worked as a therapist for an eating disorders charity for several years and has successfully supported many people with their issues of emotional eating. Lesley has significant expertise in working with food related issues, with individuals and in groups. Lesley uses her enthusiasm and sense of humour alongside her perceptive experience to make a very engaging trainer.
Liz has a B.Sc in Nutrition from London University. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Relate Certificate in Couples Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in CBT. She is BACP accredited and is a UKRCP registered independent counsellor/psychotherapist.
Julie Archer, is a BACP accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist in private practice, with a particular interest in supporting people with emotional eating and is an associate of the Wiseweight programme.
Anita Hart is a BACP accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works in Education and in private practice. She has a long history of helping people manage their eating in new ways.
